About the Author

My name is Alexia Avelar. I am a soon-to-be graduate from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in English and an aspiring secondary education teacher. This website was created with the purpose of compiling content created for my Multi-genre Literacy course at CSUN. While this resource is created as part of my required curriculum, my sincerest hope is that it may provide useful insight to whoever comes across it. I am excited to test what this site can become. I enjoy an adventure and a challenge (if it comes with strong coffee); I see this site as an opportunity to stretch my creative muscle and I can’t wait to see and share what it may become.
